Rushford Village is a small community of 800 people nestled in southeastern Minnesota's scenic Root River valley. Highway 16 runs right through town, connecting it to La Crosse, Wisconsin (30 miles east) and Preston (12 miles west). From Rochester, take Highway 63 south to Highway 16 east for a 45-minute drive through rolling farmland. The historic Rushford Village Mill from 1867 still operates as a working flour mill powered by the Root River.
