Rolla, KS

Rolla is a small farming town in far southwest Kansas, sitting at the junction of US Highways 160 and 83 in Morton County. The main routes are US 160 running east-west toward Colorado and Oklahoma, and US 83 connecting north to Garden City about 60 miles away. The area is classic High Plains wheat country with a semi-arid climate. The town features a restored Santa Fe Railway caboose in its park, honoring the railroad heritage that helped establish this corner of Kansas.
