Ringling is a small agricultural town in south-central Oklahoma, about 20 miles west of Ardmore via US Highway 70. Most visitors take I-35 to Ardmore, then follow US 70 west through rolling prairie country dotted with cotton fields and cattle ranches. State Highway 89 provides the main north-south route through town. The community of 807 residents was named after the famous Ringling Brothers circus family, who had early ranching connections to the area.
