Rigby, a farming town of 5,400 in southeastern Idaho, sits 20 miles north of Idaho Falls on US-20. Known as the "Birthplace of Television" for inventor Philo T. Farnsworth, it's a quick stop between Idaho Falls and Rexburg. The original Farnsworth farm operates as a museum in the same barn where the teenage inventor sketched his revolutionary television concepts in 1921.
