Resaca, GA

Resaca is a small northwest Georgia town of about 1,100 people, located just off I-75 at Exit 320. The interstate connects it to Atlanta (70 miles southeast) and Chattanooga (45 miles northwest), with US 41 running through town as the main local road. The area features rolling foothills and mild winters with warm, humid summers. Resaca is home to one of Georgia's most significant Civil War cemeteries, where over 400 Confederate soldiers from the 1864 Battle of Resaca are buried.
