Reardan, WA

Reardan is a farming town of 726 people in eastern Washington's wheat country, about 30 miles west of Spokane via US Highway 2. The drive takes 40 minutes through rolling Palouse prairie and serves as the main commuter route to the city. State Route 231 connects north-south to other rural communities. The high school football team still plays on one of the region's few natural grass fields.
