Potsdam is a farming community of 253 people in western Ohio's Miami County, about 40 miles northwest of Dayton. Take I-75 north from Dayton to Troy, then follow State Route 571 west through agricultural countryside. The 1882 post office on Main Street still operates from its original location, serving the same rural route for over 140 years.
