Polkton, NC

Polkton is a small town of about 2,500 people in Anson County, 45 miles southeast of Charlotte via US Highway 74. The town sits in typical Piedmont countryside with pine forests and farmland. Highway 74 connects directly to Charlotte and Wilmington, while Highway 52 provides access from Albemarle to the north. The historic cotton gin still stands downtown, marking the area's agricultural past.
