Pilot Knob, MO

Pilot Knob is a small Iron County town of about 650 people, located 90 miles southwest of St. Louis in Missouri's Ozark foothills. Most visitors arrive via Interstate 55 to Highway 67, then Highway 21 through Farmington. The town sits among rolling hills and forests that once guided Civil War troops, taking its name from a distinctive 1,100-foot peak that served as a landmark for early travelers.
