Petersburg, TX

Petersburg is a small farming town of about 700 people in the Texas Panhandle, 20 miles northeast of Lubbock via US Highway 62. The town sits among cotton and grain fields, with State Highway 54 providing north-south access to Plainview and beyond. Most visitors drive from Lubbock in about 25 minutes through open farmland. The town's towering grain elevator serves as a 150-foot landmark visible for miles across the flat prairie.
