Paxville is a tiny rural community in central South Carolina, about 45 miles southeast of Columbia via I-20 and US 521. With just 453 residents, it sits in rolling pine country near the Francis Marion National Forest. The main route from Columbia takes about an hour through Manning, while Charleston visitors use US 52 north then SC 6 west. The Pocotaligo River runs nearby, offering some of the region's best bass fishing.
