Park Forest is a planned suburb about 30 miles south of Chicago, accessible via I-57 exits at Sauk Trail and Western Avenue. Built in the 1940s as one of America's first post-war developments, it features tree-lined streets and mid-century architecture. The Illinois Theatre Center operates in a converted 1950s movie theater and has been producing professional shows for over 40 years.
