Located on US Highway 2, it's 15 miles east of Superior and connects to the Twin Cities via I-35. The town sits in boreal forest country where lake effect weather creates heavy winters and cool summers. Oliver preserves one of Wisconsin's last historic one-room schoolhouses from the early 1900s.
