Old Washington is a tiny village in eastern Ohio along the historic National Road (Route 40). Located about 15 miles east of Cambridge via Route 40, it's easily reached from Interstate 70. The village of 223 people sits in Guernsey County's rolling countryside near the West Virginia border. Most visitors arrive while following the National Road heritage trail or heading to nearby attractions. The village preserves one of Ohio's original limestone mile markers from the 1830s National Road.
