Oberlin, KS

Oberlin is a small county seat in northwest Kansas, 20 miles from Nebraska on US Highway 83. The main routes are US 83 north to McCook or south to Colby and I-70, plus Highway 9 east-west to Norton. It's surrounded by wheat fields and ranch land typical of the Great Plains. The Last Indian Raid Museum commemorates the 1878 Northern Cheyenne raid, the final Native American conflict in Kansas.
