Oak Ridge, TX

Oak Ridge is a small East Texas city of about 1,200 people, located 35 miles east of Dallas in Kaufman County. The main route is Highway 34 north from I-20 near Terrell, with Highway 205 providing western access. Most traffic consists of local commutes to Terrell or longer trips to the Dallas area. The volunteer fire department's red brick station on Highway 34 has been a community landmark since 1985.
