North, SC

North is a small farming community of 675 people in central South Carolina, about 50 miles south of Columbia. Take I-26 south to Exit 145, then US 321 south to reach the town. The main routes are US 321 running north-south and US 176 east-west, connecting to Orangeburg and other regional centers. Freight trains still pass through several times daily along the old Charleston-to-Columbia railroad line.
