North Canton is a suburban city in northeastern Ohio, located along Interstate 77 between Akron and Canton. The main routes include I-77 for regional travel, State Route 619 running north-south through downtown, and Route 687 going east-west. Akron-Canton Regional Airport sits about 15 miles southeast. Popular trips include short drives to Canton for shopping or north to Akron for entertainment, plus longer routes to Cleveland or Columbus. The city was once home to the Hoover Company's original vacuum cleaner factory.
