Nogales is Arizona's main border crossing into Mexico, sitting 65 miles south of Tucson via Interstate 19. The drive passes through classic Sonoran Desert with saguaro cacti and mountain views. State Route 82 heads east toward wine country, while local traffic uses Grand and Morley Avenues. The 1904 volcanic rock courthouse still serves as the county seat downtown.
