Newark, IL

Newark is a small farming town of about 1,100 people in Kendall County, roughly 50 miles southwest of Chicago. Most visitors arrive via I-80 to Route 71 south (Exit 97), about an hour from the city. The main routes are Route 71 running north-south through town and connections to Route 47 for regional travel. Newark's restored 1800s wooden grain elevator is one of the last remaining in the county.
