New Kingman-Butler is an unincorporated community in northwestern Arizona's high desert, about 90 miles southeast of Las Vegas via US 93. Located along the historic Route 66 corridor, it serves as a residential area for nearby Kingman. I-40 provides the main east-west connection, while US 93 runs north-south toward Vegas and Phoenix. The community was named after Lewis Kingman, the railroad surveyor who helped establish the Atlantic and Pacific Railroad through this desert crossing in the 1880s.
