New Berlin is a small Texas community in Guadalupe County, about 25 miles northeast of San Antonio via FM 78 through New Braunfels. Most visitors arrive on this scenic route through Hill Country farmland, while locals use it for trips to larger towns. The community sits near Randolph Air Force Base and retains several original 1840s limestone buildings from its German settlers.
