Naches, WA

Naches is a small Yakima Valley town of about 1,000 people along US Highway 12, sitting 15 miles northwest of Yakima. It's a popular stop for visitors heading to Mount Rainier via State Route 410 or continuing west through the Cascades. The semi-arid climate brings hot summers and mild winters. The Naches River flows through town, and you can watch salmon spawning runs at the riverside park during late summer.
