Mountainair, NM

Mountainair sits along US Highway 60 in New Mexico's high desert, about 75 miles southeast of Albuquerque at 6,500 feet elevation. The town serves as a gateway to Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument and connects to State Road 55 for access to surrounding ranch country. Known as the "Bean Capital of the World," Mountainair celebrates its agricultural heritage each October with the annual Pinto Bean Fiesta.
