Mount Airy sits along I-70 in Carroll County, about 45 miles west of Baltimore and 50 miles northwest of D.C. via I-270. Route 27 runs north-south through town, connecting to Westminster and Damascus, while Route 26 provides a scenic link to Frederick 15 miles southeast.
