Mounds, OK

Mounds is a small Creek County town of about 1,000 people, located 20 miles south of Tulsa on Highway 75. Most visitors drive down from Tulsa via I-244 to Highway 75 in about 25 minutes, while those from Oklahoma City take I-44 northeast to the Turner Turnpike, then Highway 75 north. The town gets its name from the numerous Native American burial mounds found throughout the area.
