Mound, MN

Mound is a lakeside city on Lake Minnetonka's western shore, about 25 miles west of Minneapolis via I-394 and Highway 101. The town connects to other lake communities through Highway 101 and County Road 15, with Highway 7 providing scenic access from the south. Flying Cloud Airport sits 15 miles east for private flights. The community features the restored 1896 Great Northern Railway depot, now home to the Westonka Historical Society museum.
