Morton, TX

Morton is a small farming town in Texas's South Plains, about 60 miles northwest of Lubbock. US Highway 114 runs right through the center, connecting east to Levelland and west toward New Mexico. Most visitors approach via US 385 north from Lubbock to Levelland, then US 114 west. The town sits amid vast cotton and corn fields under big Texas skies. Morton claims the world's largest peanut statue at 27 feet tall.
