Morehouse, MO

Morehouse is a small farming town of 715 people in Missouri's Bootheel, that narrow southeastern strip extending toward Arkansas. Highway 25 runs north-south through town, connecting to Sikeston 20 miles north and Interstate 55 about 10 miles west for longer trips. The town sits on flat Mississippi delta farmland in humid subtropical climate country, just miles from the historic New Madrid Fault Zone where massive 1811-1812 earthquakes shook half the continent.
