Moorefield, WV

Moorefield is Hardy County's seat in West Virginia's eastern panhandle, sitting in the South Branch Potomac River valley about 20 miles from Virginia. US Route 220 runs through town connecting to Cumberland, Maryland and points south, while State Route 55 heads east to Winchester, Virginia. The town serves surrounding rural communities and features a traditional courthouse square with its original Civil War-era courthouse still in use.
