Moon Lake is a small Pasco County community about 35 miles north of Tampa, home to around 4,600 residents. Drivers reach it via I-275 north to SR-54 west, then US-41 through Dade City, or from Orlando via I-4 to I-75 north and SR-52 west. The subtropical climate brings hot summers and mild winters. The community gets its name from the crescent-shaped natural lake at its center, complete with a public boat ramp for bass fishing.
