Montrose, AR

Montrose is a small Ashley County town of 170 people in Arkansas's timber country, about 25 miles from Crossett via Highway 8. Most visitors arrive from Little Rock (120 miles) via I-530 and US-65, or from Louisiana via I-20 and US-65 north. The community sits near Overflow National Wildlife Refuge, famous for massive waterfowl migrations along the Mississippi flyway.
