Minong, WI

Minong is a small Wisconsin town of 678 people in the state's northwestern lake country. Highway 53 runs north-south through town, connecting to Superior (45 miles) and Eau Claire (90 miles), while Highway 77 provides east-west access. The town sits along the Namekagon River, which offers excellent canoeing and fishing opportunities. You can launch a canoe directly from the municipal boat landing on Main Street.
