Mill Creek is a tiny Union County community reached via Route 146, about twelve miles west of Anna. Most visitors exit I-57 at Anna and follow Route 146 west through rolling farmland. The village sits on County Road 3, surrounded by the gentle hills typical of southern Illinois. Its post office operates just three days a week, serving all 37 residents.
