Merton, WI

Merton is a small Wisconsin city 30 miles west of Milwaukee, accessible via Highway 83 and State Highway 16. The area features rolling farmland and lakes typical of southeastern Wisconsin's glacial landscape. Long-distance visitors often use Interstate 94, about 15 miles south, while locals travel the network of county roads connecting to Waukesha and surrounding communities. The restored 1840s Merton Mill still grinds grain using its original water-powered stone wheels along the Oconomowoc River.
