McRae, AR

McRae is a small White County town of about 600 people located 15 miles northeast of Searcy along Highway 367. The area features rolling farmland typical of central Arkansas, with hot, humid summers and mild winters. Most visitors arrive via Highway 67 from Little Rock, then take Highway 367 north. The town's restored 1920s one-room schoolhouse now serves as a community center and local history museum.
