McCammon, ID

McCammon is a small railroad town of about 900 people in southeastern Idaho, positioned along Interstate 15 just 15 miles from Utah. Most visitors arrive via I-15, which connects to Pocatello 25 miles north and Salt Lake City 90 miles south. The town sits in the Portneuf River valley at 4,600 feet elevation, surrounded by agricultural land and rolling hills. McCammon preserves one of Idaho's few original Union Pacific depot buildings from the 1920s.
