Highway 165 runs right through town, connecting to Monroe 25 miles south and Arkansas to the north. Most visitors come from I-20, taking the Highway 165 exit near Sterlington for a 30-minute drive north. The red brick courthouse from 1898 dominates the tiny downtown with its Victorian clock tower.
