Manton, MI

Manton is a small city of 1,500 in north-central Michigan's Wexford County, positioned along the Manistee River where farmland meets northern forests. Highway M-42 runs through town, connecting east to US-131 (the main north-south route to Grand Rapids and Petoskey) and west 12 miles to Cadillac. The restored 1888 railroad depot downtown now houses the local historical museum with original ticket windows intact.
