Take I-95 to Exit 173 (Malabar Road) from Orlando or other distant points. The city sits between the Indian River Lagoon and coastal ridge, maintaining a rural feel despite proximity to Melbourne's development. The 340-acre Malabar Scrub Sanctuary preserves ancient sand dunes that once formed barrier islands.
