Lorain, OH

Lorain sits on Lake Erie's shore about 25 miles west of Cleveland, connected by Interstate 90 and scenic Route 2 along the waterfront. The industrial city grew around its natural harbor where the Black River meets the lake. Popular routes include quick trips to Cleveland and longer drives to Toledo or Columbus via connecting highways. The 1917 Lorain Lighthouse still guides ships with its distinctive red beacon.
