Lindsay is a farming town of 300 people in Nebraska's Platte County, about 25 miles northwest of Columbus via US-30. Most visitors arrive from Omaha (90 miles east) or Lincoln via Columbus. The town sits in corn and soybean country with a continental climate featuring hot summers and cold winters. Its historic grain elevator dominates the skyline, visible for miles across the flat prairie.
