Lillington, NC

Lillington is Harnett County's seat, located 30 miles south of Raleigh along the Cape Fear River. US Highway 401 provides the main route from the Triangle area, while NC Highway 27 connects east-west to surrounding communities. The town sits in North Carolina's Coastal Plain among pine forests and farmland. The 1911 red brick courthouse with its prominent clock tower dominates the downtown area.
