LaMoure, ND

LaMoure is a small farming town of about 650 people in southeastern North Dakota, sitting along the James River valley about 70 miles southwest of Fargo. Most visitors arrive via Highway 281 from Interstate 94 near Jamestown, driving south through wheat country. The town serves as LaMoure County's seat, anchored by its distinctive 1916 brick courthouse with a prominent clock tower visible for miles across the prairie.
