Lake View, AL

Lake View is a small Alabama city of about 4,000 people located 15 miles southwest of Tuscaloosa along the Black Warrior River. Highway 69 south from Tuscaloosa provides the main access, while I-20/59 connects to Birmingham and Mississippi. The town sits on rolling Coastal Plain terrain with a humid subtropical climate. Most distinctive is its riverside location on a bend of the Black Warrior River, where an old dam once created the lake that gave the town its name.
