Kinross is a tiny farming town of 171 people in southeastern Iowa's Keokuk County. Highway 92 runs right through town, connecting east-west across the region, while Highway 149 provides north-south access to Interstate 80 about 45 minutes north. Most traffic comes from Sigourney, the county seat 15 miles east on Highway 92.
