Kellogg is a small Iowa farming town of 676 people in Jasper County, connected by Highway 6 to Interstate 80 about 15 miles south. Most visitors come from Newton, 12 miles west, or use I-80 for longer trips across central Iowa. The town runs its own electric utility, one of the few municipal power companies left in the state.
