Keithsburg, IL

Keithsburg is a Mississippi River town of 490 people in western Illinois, about 25 miles south of the Quad Cities. US Route 34 connects it west to Burlington, Iowa, and east toward Galesburg, while State Route 17 runs north-south through town. The Great River Road provides scenic driving along the Mississippi. The town features one of the last hand-operated swing bridges over a river backwater channel.
