Route 29 runs right through town connecting to Gloversville five miles east, while Route 30 heads north into the mountains. Most visitors arrive via I-90 and Route 30A through Fonda. The historic Knox Mansion, a striking 1878 Victorian with an elaborate mansard roof, now houses the county museum.
