Jakin is a tiny farming community in southwest Georgia near the Alabama line, home to just 155 people. Take US Highway 27 to get there, about 45 miles southwest of Albany or connecting from Dothan via US 231. The town sits in rolling agricultural country with a humid subtropical climate.
